One aspect of Arts Boston’s mission to promote Boston cultural events and organizations is their ticket booths in Copley Square and at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The latter has not been refurbished since it was built in the 1970’s and in its current tired condition undercuts the image of the arts as being vibrant and relevant.

The proposed total renovation will incorporate video signage, a more vertical profile, expanded space for advertising and a taut glass skin that will glow at night. The result will be an elegant and dramatic counterpoint to the stone and brick of Faneuil Hall. The revitalized Bostix Booth will attract and better serve a larger customer base. Improved visibility, more advertising and clearer purchasing information will all work to increase the audiences for Arts Boston’s client cultural organizations.
