Charles River School

Black River Architects began working with the Charles River School in 1996 with the charge to help the school more efficiently use its existing buildings. Working closely with the school, we produced a Space Utilization and Facilities Study that recommended a series of strategies for more efficiently using their buildings in ways more consistent with their educational mission and style.

In 2000, Black River Architects designed the initial building project recommended in the report, renovated a recently acquired building and completed a Master Plan for the entire campus.

In 2005 Black River Architects was hired to update the Master Plan completed in 2000 and to initiate programming for a new gymnasium and renovations to the Middle School building.
